Your car can be easily scraped if you use things like a razor blade or anything that has an edge to it. I have personally had this happen and had to get my car professionally painted and corrected to remove the scratches. I have learned from my mistakes and come up with these methods.

Goo gone is a very well-known and famous product that can be used to remove glue residue, glue itself, and even a sticker. This product works marvelously because it’s made directly to break down glue residue on a surface. You might be saying that you have a sticker, but a sticker is made of paper and glue residue, so the Goo gone will get it off.

To use the goo gone to get the sticker residue off your car, you will need to either spray the sticker with some of the goo gone or wet the area with a good amount of it and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes to soften the glue. After the time period is up, you can peel off the sticker or wipe it off with a microfiber cloth.

I love using rubbing alcohol because it is safe to use on any surface without causing any fading or damage at all. They both have food-grade and Medical grade rubbing alcohol, but either one of them can be used to help with remove stickers from a car without damaging the paint.

When using rubbing alcohol, it is best to use a spray bottle to spray the area with the sticker so that it spreads evenly and softens the glue that holds the sticker onto the car. Let the rubbing alcohol sit on it for 10-15 minutes, then apply more to the sticker and peel the sticker off the car. You might need to wet a microfiber cloth with some of the rubbing alcohol and wipe off the glue that is remaining.

3. Hydrogen Peroxide To Remove Sticker From Car

Hydrogen peroxide is another amazing cleaning product similar to Rubbing alcohol. Hydrogen peroxide, on the other hand, is a little bit more aggressive, so you will need to wipe it off after a few minutes when you put it on the sticker. Do not let it stay more than three minutes before you use your fingers and peel the sticker off.

WD-40 has the same consistency that goo gone has, this makes it works similarly to how Goo gone will remove the sticker from your car. The WD-40 will have more oil in it, so you will need to clean the car off or give it a proper wash after you remove the sticker from that area.

All you need to do to use WD-40 to remove the sticker as to spray the area lightly and let the WD-40 sit for a few minutes until you feel the sticker getting lo0se. Once a sticker feels lose, you can now peel it off and then wipe the rest of the glue residue off with some more WD-40.
