1. Get Rid of  Their Food Source

This should be the first thing that comes to your mind, you might be saying that you cannot move the food. What you can do is clean the area properly so that the food particle that is around will be gone and the ants will not try to come around. If you have sugar jars and cookie jars, make sure to clean the jar out and close the lid properly the next time you use it. If you allow your kids to go in the cookie jar, ensure they close it properly or you can go back and check to make sure it is closed.

Baking soda is an amazing product that you can use to clean and remove odors from anywhere in your house. This one surprised me as well, but it actually works marvelously. I found this out by accident one day when I spill some baby powder and I immediately see the ants running and some of them die. 6. Using Lemon Juice On Sugar Ants

Dawn dish soap is an amazing cleaning product that is very versatile. Beekeepers use dishwashing soap like dawn dish soap to get rid of an entire colony of bees without using any toxic chemicals at all. They simply just mix the dawn dish soap with warm water and that’s it, you can use this method in a spray bottle to get rid of ants on the inside of your house and the outside as well. You can also wipe the area as well if you do not want to spray anything on it.

2. Using Borax To Get Rid Of Ants

Borax is a well-known cleaning product that dates way back, but it is a very toxic product if it was consumed. Clean the area:

The first thing you should do is clean the area where you see the ants, this will eventually get rid of the ants as soon as their food source is gone.

Wipe down the car with rubbing alcohol:

You should do this method if you see that the ants are crawling all over the inside of your car. Do not use the rubbing alcohol on leather surfaces but it can be used on everything else to remove food and the smell so the sugar ants do not come back. To clean the leather if the sweet is on it, spray some dawn dish soap on it and wipe it down.
