How To Clean Car Carpet Without A Washing Machine
Below will be a step-by-step cleaning method to clean the carpet in your car that will make the carpet on the floor look brand new again in no time.
Car Carpet Cleaning Process:
Step 1:
Remove the carpet from the carpet and shake off any excessive dust. What you can do as well is beat the carpet on a piece of wood or anything that can shake the dust out easier so the cleaning process won’t be that hard.
Step 2:
Use the vacuum and vacuum the area where you just take the carpet from. This will make your car cleaner knowing when you are putting back the carpet, the area is clean. If large debris is on the floor, use the scrub brush to loosen it then vacuum it up.
Step 3:
Place the carpet on a flat surface so you can vacuum it properly to get excessive dust out of it first. If your vacuum doesn’t have an attachment with a brush on the end, use a scrub brush to brush the carpet to get anything off it that might be sticking.

Mix some dawn dish soap in a wash bucket with some warm water and wet the carpet. Leave it to sit for 10 minutes, this will make it easier to scrub when you are ready to clean it.

Now that the carpet is presoaked, take the bottle of dawn dish soap and pour some on the carpet itself. If areas on the carpet have heavy stains, pour some of the dawn dish soap on that area along with some baking soda to help remove the stain. Now you can start to scrub the carpet until you have removed all the stains and dirt.

Washing the carpet off is really easy. You can wash it off with a hose in the same spot or you can full a large enough container and rinse it inside it. Now that the carpet is rinsed, you will need to let it drip try for a period of time.Â
This means that you should hang it on the deck or something to let all the water run out before you put it in the washing machine to dry. When it is dry, just place it back in the car but make sure it is dry properly to prevent any odor to build up.
