Baking soda is well known for how well it absorbs bad odors from any area. This could be your clothes, furniture, or just cleaning places in your house and other areas. When using this method, you will need a box of baking soda, so get that ready.

Step 1. The first thing you need to do is fill the cleaning container with enough warm water to cover whatever clothes that have the diesel smell on them. Once the container is full, you need to add a box of baking soda to the container and mix it around.

Step 2. Once you mix around the water, you will need to add the clothes to it and mix it around some more. Do not add any detergent because it will not make the baking soda do its job. Let the clothes stay in the water for 4-5 hours so that the baking soda absorbs the diesel smell.
